Warped tour

This is a touring music and extreme sport festival held by the shoe company "vans". The locations which this concert is held are venues such as parking lots or fields were a stage can be set up. I can tell you some history of it. In 1995 a guy named Kevin Lyman who got the idea while working on skateboarding shows such as the Vision Skate Escape and Holiday Havoc which included music with skateboarding contests.  The Warped name comes from the short-lived Warp Magazine, published by Transworld, which covered surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, and music. Every year there is a "BBQ Band" which is a band who trade a play in the concert for a barbecue for all the crew members. This music festival perfectly combines music with sports, reason to assist to it .-Cristina
